Services
English as a Second Language Classes - FREE survival, intermediate, and advanced English classes. Monday through Thursday from 10 am - 12 noon and 6 pm - 8 pm.
Citizenship Classes - Every fall, Dr. Larry Ojeda offers FREE bilingual classes on citizenship for people looking to pass the naturalization tests. There is one class each week during the ten week session. Students must pre-resister and attend all classes.
Child care - FREE child care from is available during class times - Monday through Thursday - 10 am - 12 noon and 6 pm - 8 pm.
One-on-One Tutoring - we provide FREE tutors for our students in order for them to receive more individualized attention. Tutors and tutees meet at mutually convenient times, set their own meetings, and develop lesson plans together based on the student's needs.
Computers - Computer use, including e-mail and Internet, is available FREE to all Stateline Literacy Council students. We also provide computer software for additional English language study to our students.
Oral/Written Translation Services - we can help translate letters, school notes, bills, household services, immigration papers, and job applications from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish.
